Aussie PM Kevin Rudd slams radio ‘rape’ segmen 2DAYFM

The Prime Minister of Australia threw in his two cents concerning the controversial “rape confession” on radio station 2Day FM. The segment, which resulted in a 14-year-old girl revealing live on radio she had been raped as a 12-year-old, has drawn a lot of contriversy in Australia. Listeners have called for the sacking of morning hosts “Kyle and Jackie O.” Broadcasting content rules and standards in Australia are, without a doubt, much more relaxed than in the States.
